SEGRETO BELLEZZA is personified through this strange, sticky and sensational world of slug sex. It is beautiful, it takes a long time (sometimes) and it is kind of hypno-homoerotic. I wanted to capture and showcase this all-consuming, body shivering, toe curling, spine tingling experience of intimacy + lovemaking and bring it to the forefront of our minds and to isolate the issues of gender and equality we face today in our society - to remind everyone that not only is love free, it is also genderless. Just like these slugs, whom are free to choose their sexual preference upon meeting 'the one', these works depict displays of love + intimacy between a pair of individuals who share nothing but the wondrous gift of giving and receiving - a secret beauty worth sharing.
